a disabled person asking people not to be ableist isn't fucking cyberbullying. what level of mental gymnastics are these people on?

hey you know what is cyberbullying? dogpiling that disabled person and telling them to just deal with their disability and fucking fakeclaiming them.

it takes just as much effort to just tag "yingletspeak" as it does to check the 18+ box or write out content warnings, and those don't face scrutiny, so there's some clear cognitive dissonance here. the idea of calling an autistic/dyslexic person speciesist because you can't be bothered doing a basic consideration that you would do for other situations shows to me an inherent antipathy towards disabled people.

you know what takes a lot more effort? that disabled person having to install multiple browser extensions, most of which don't work on a mobile browser. you might as well tell a cane user to grab a plank since the stairs are too much for them. unlike what's being asserted on this website right now, species euphoria doesn't hinge on pushing disabled people out of safe spaces, and the delusion that disabled people need to just pull themselves up by their bootstraps so you don't have to use one tag is abhorrent.

just tag the fucking posts.

i don't think the people making suggestions for ways ida might solve the problem on their end are the same people posting as yinglets. like i don't know how to find the alleged mass of untagged yinglet posts because they are untagged, so i can't do anything about them

yes they are!! and outside of them, there were a lot of other therian/plural folks with typing quirks engaging in that. i have absolutely experienced this; why do you insinuate it didn't happen as if you know the situation better than me? why don't you just ask me? why do you keep vagueposting about me and implying i'm the only one complaining? it's still fueling the dogpiling against me even if you're not using my name in them, but at least you're doing it here so it confirms to me even more you were targeting me; everyone who is in on the discourse can tell you are talking about me. why aren't you being more considerate as someone who has been the target of dogpiling a thousand times in the past?

well most obviously because i made a suggestion for a way you might solve the problem on your end, and i have never yingletposted. so the sentiment of essentially "shut up and tag your posts" comes across a little weird when i've never made any of the offending posts!

and then you still quoted me in your list of responses to "bad faith" feedback, so, talking to you further did not seem like it would be constructive. (tbh i'm baffled that you're asking why i never just talked to you, when the one thing i did say to you was "have you tried talking to your friends".) it just looked like you were just getting increasingly angry at anything other than three or four specific people doing the thing you wanted, and they didn't want to do the thing you wanted. which, frankly, just fucking sucks for everyone else who isn't one of those people and is trying to offer other solutions. anyone who would like to help you but has no power to force other people to do anything gets lumped in like they're part of the problem.

i don't think you're the only one complaining. in fact i very clearly know you're not, since we are both right now commenting on a post by someone else who is also complaining! and i only posted about this at all because i saw more people getting increasingly nasty about it, and the overall conversation taking the same shape as previous clusterfucks. when i post about a general principle it's because i have thoughts about a general principle, not because i'm trying to do some elaborate sleight of hand to telepathically encourage everyone to dunk on a single person. the only part that was specifically about you was the last paragraph of the first post, which is pretty clear about that and also pretty neutral.

how about the yinglets? why doesn't any of this qualify as dogpiling them? @8akesale sure seems pretty fucking miserable at the moment. where's your consideration for them?

the most astounding part of all this has been finding out that there is a deyingletifier for ios safari, so you had multiple solutions to your problem all along. but you didn't ask for solutions, you insisted specific people do a specific thing and rejected anything else.
