For fun I tried to create your layout on Keyboard Layout Editor. Not sure I got it exactly right, but I tried my best (´·ω·`).
In regards to your comment about the Command key, Linux actually has a fourth modifier key called “Hyper”, though its mapped to act as another Super key by default, so—if I remember correctly—you have to mess with XModmap to change make it actually usable.

that's exactly what I was thinking! only difference is the gap in the numpad (which I'm guessing is just how the layout editor works) and now seeing it maybe ESC would be two rows high, just for fun. or a giant 2x2 panic button

and I didn't know about hyper, thankyou! I was thinking add the command key since apparently it lets you do e.g. CMD+C to copy out of the terminal without having to do CTRL+SHIFT+C.
