Welp, can't say I'm really surprised

Though I'm obviously still saddened. Cohost is such a fun and cozy little corner of the web, and to see it go will be a great loss.

As for me: I'm not sure. Funny thing, I actually was about Tumblr blog, because I rarely go there anymore, but now there's reason to. Though I see going back to Tumblr as a downgrade: there's no NSFW content, it's full of TERFs, and it's future is just as uncertain. I'm not really interested in sites like Mastadon or BlueSky, since I hate Twitter's interface. Do those sites also have character limits for posts? I'll soon add a link to my Tumblr to my profile, so you can follow me there.

In the future I'm planning on making my own private little site, for me to post on. But I'm not too interested in modern social media. I'm also gonna try and develop some social skills, so I can be more active on Discord, lol.

Well, there's some contact info on my profile, I'll keep posting till the site explodes, but if you decide to dip out early, I wanna say that Cohost has been the most fun I had on social media in a long time.

the main mastodon website has a 500 character limit and twitter interface but most instances raise the limit to around 5000, and some have different interfaces

a bunch of people i've followed are on goblin.band which has a tumblr interface
