there have been websites before, there will be websites in the future, but i don't think any website has ever been as much of a "taurs site" as this one, and i really don't know if any website ever will be again
like, you just have to SAY the word "taur" and every single taur on this site trots in and likes your post
just, on what other website can you go to #taurposting and just see this sheer amount of activity from taurs, not just images but also text posts and jokes and genuine introspection. like obviously #taur is there, but i don't know any other website with taur POSTING.
same with therians... this place MADE me the therian i am today, but no other place has therianPOSTING quite like this. you'll notice that my own therianposts are not the kind of posts i make on mastodon in general? and i don't really know why...
mastodon HAS taurs. mastodon HAS therians. there are taurs and therians on mastodon. but i never see taurposting or therianposting there. maybe we all should bring that energy to there and other sites, wherever we move to
Taurs, therians, TF lovers, yinglets (so many yinglets! <3), multi-headed characters, kobolds, creachurs in general... this place has definitely been a unique and wonderful experience. Hopefully some day we'll see another like it fill that void.
