Well, the end is here, and I have something to say. I felt Welcome here. It was a haven in some of my Darkest times.
I moved here from Twitter in 2022-early 2023, and I took a Hard look at what my writing on Twitter was, how I interacted with people. I hated it, I was angry a lot of the time, argued a lot. I Got into the Korps over there yeah, but I didn't Want to write there, I felt cynical and jaded every time i opened the app. I stopped looking there for the most part when I moved here fully. I started writing more stuff for my own little corner of the Korps, a little blacksmiths shop in a tiny corner of the RIV Base, and I felt Alive here!
I started Cohost Radio and started Reading the news again, trying to find the good stuff, but also reporting the bad. I wish I hadn't taken a break from here.
This place Reinforced that transitioning was the right decision for me, even when my own parents told me I was making a horrible mistake.
I made Friends here, and connections. This place is a home, Always will be, but the bitch house is packed, and we signed each others year books. We traded contacts with the ones we will miss the most. We all have Eggbug with us as we go, and we'll turn off the lights so the New Garfield can finally get a good night's sleep. Intern Secretary Eggbug and Edgebug are gonna have to find new jobs, Maybe I'll hit them up, See if they wanna work for me. It was like a website in here. Lets take the good things from here with us. Let us be kind to others, comment as often as we can, and not let the hateful people get to us. We were the Fourth Website. Not twitter, not tumbler. The middle one. Let us take eggbug, and tag slug, and post hog and All the others, lets share them with the World! We leave this place Better for it. Don't let the other sites say this was a bad site. It had flaws yeah, and issues, but it was still a good site. Yeah, still good. Ohana means Family, thats what you all were to me.
This is the Last Cohost Radio on Cohost. After today, I move the project to my Dreamwidth blog. I have big plans. Music recommendations, More gaming news, maybe even doing my own music if my Audio Tech classes go well! I Will bring Love Honk to the Masses, Don't you worry! I will forever be a Chostie, a rebugger and a choster. Hell, I plan to use the color scheme from here on my twitch stream stuff, once I get started. It has Been an Absolute Blast hanging with you all! Other than moving posts from here to my blog, Cohost Radio will be taking a Hiatus till November, so I can mourn and get my things together IRL.
