I will miss this place. It was a good place.
You can find me at the links in my profile, or in my pinned post.
Below is a draft I constructed some time ago when I was on a particular creative kick and fixating on one of the longest backburned projects I've had - The Andreagor Chronicles.
I pivoted from wanting it to be a graphic novel, to a script, to a book, from YA to just fully adult in order to discuss some of the themes I want it to include, and its sorta just spent the last few years in limbo around other projects of mine that have really found their feet and gotten off the ground faster than TAC could.
I still want to write TAC as a novel, or a book series. I still love my creation of it, and I hope that one day I come back to it.
Cohost was a nice place to post. It didn't feel forced. It felt entirely voluntary and not coercive like so much social media does.
I was here because I wanted to be, not because it made business or brand sense, for want of a better word (yes that sounds very pretentious, I am extremely aware.)
Anyway...
Here's that draft, roughing out a potential opening scene that attempts to rapidly establish the primary three characters of TAC, complete with spelling and syntax errors I made when I hastily typed it up.
My promise to a site going away, is that I will write this book.
If cohost taught me anything it's that it's better to try and fail than to forget even trying
