Got my official diagnosis for autism & ADHD today at age thirty seven. Had most of it figured out already through self diagnosis a couple years ago, so really I just needed the professional thing done so I can back up what I've been trying to explain about related struggles to Social Security for my disability benefits. But still, feels pretty validating after growing up being told stuff like I was making up all my sensory, communication and focusing struggles, and that I just needed to be 'less sensitive' and 'try harder'.
