Hopefully the game releases outside of Steam. I prefer games from itch or GOG preferably.
The developers mentioned that in the wake of Steam's behavior, they're in talks with GOG. So it's likely that it'll be released there too, at the very least.
Sounds like those testers may have become too jaded and need to move to another job.
