If you look at recipes that add optional sugar to ease the heat or sourness of a dish and your reaction is 'heck no, give me those harsh in my face sour and spicy flavors' then we can be friends.
(We can still be friends even if you do like sugar in your cooking, I'm just making a silly comment about my tastes)
I tend to go for sweetness only to mitigate bitterness in foods. Sour can be a 50-50 thing, but heck yeah, gimme the spicy XD
