Housemate brought home some expensive burger patties he asked a woof to cook for him for his birthday so I did. Apparently 'Angus Tri Tip'. Really fancy, so I went all out. His portion (which quickly vanished) was covered in melted pepper jack cheese. For mine though I can't have cheese because allergy, but I wanted to go all out to enjoy the rare fancy treat. So I caramelized some onions, made a quick sauce of ketchup, brown mustard, Worcestershire sauce and a little vinegar to dress the bun (and have on the side for the fries, not pictured), toasted the buns and topped each with an egg.
It was so. Fucking. Worth it. So much good savory flavor and slightly runny egg to just bring it all together.
Definitely not something to have all the time, but so very enjoyable every now and then.
