Been having some Midnight Thoughts, which I've already shared with the Discord and since I can't sleep, I may as well share it here. It's almost that time of year where I go to my yearly convention. A time to be unabashedly myself and hang with friends without worrying about work the next day, but between last year and this year alot has changed
Since last year I've gained a fair bit of a following, met lots of new friends, and have made a name for myself in the interwebs. I've created a community where I am not only encouraged but expected to be myself. Which has done me wonders.
This however has led to the realization that due to this growth there is now a non-zero chance that one of the con goers I've never met may know me. And while it's still a miniscule chance... it's infinitely bigger than the possibility before. And that chance will only grow
I've met so many lovely people and its thanks to this opportunity I've found myself with that I've been able to take a feeling I only ever felt at conventions like this and rekindle and nurture it in my day to day, even going so far as sharing it with others.
All I'm saying is if any of my moots happen to be going to Kami-Con. Hopefully I'll see ya there
