fun new bullshit from windows: they removed the thing where, if restarting the computer was gonna trigger an update, the power options warned you "update and restart" etc. So my VDI was not working and i hit "restart" thinking i was in the clear since it just said restart. but nope, time to spend a half hour waiting for updates in the middle of my workday with no way to opt out because actually we dont own anything and i wanna punch a wall
