It happens CONSTANTLY, Ive never heard of this happening to cis people with long hair, am I being paranoid, am I losing it????
It just makes me feel like going "Nope Sorry I'm Still A Tranny, sorry to get your hopes up but maybe look with your Fucking Eyes for longer than 0.3 seconds before you get your hopes up that everyone you've been voting for to kill me has finally made me give up TRY HARDER BITCH."
Hair length isnt even really a gender thing anymore, but again, just for Cis people I guess. So like what is it? I almost never get misgendered tbh, so even if Im clocked its at least usually obvious to someone indoctrinated in the gender binary what pronouns im shooting for. Does my hair just frame my face in a certain way?
Typing this all out makes me lean more toward paranoia but like mycis coworker has long hair and puts it up Basically all the time and no one has ever asked her that in front of me! In my 30 years on this earth Ive never encountered someone who couldn't tell the difference berween short hair and long hair being worn up.
