you ever think that too many people look at any piece of art/media as a product looking to check off some imaginary list instead of an expression of one person or a group of people
like, yeah, there's plenty of assholes making garbage for idiots out there but there's also plenty of people out there making their own expressions for a reason
emotions are messy, people are messy, people are different and believe and feel and live different lives and trying to enforce strict rules on art just makes art worse
unless you're actively courting a big audience, your stuff doesn't have to be for everyone
you're not making marvel movies or call of duty, it doesn't matter. Express yourself before it eats you alive.
