Me and my irls have been going a little bit crazy the past few days, and we've gotten a lot of really good progress done - specifically on cards, but a little but on figures too! I wanna ramble about this so that's damn well what I'm gonna do.
Just to touch on the figures real quick before moving on, currently the only one finished is Testament from Guilty Gear! I've got some sketches down for a Sonic figure, but he's taken a bit of a back seat while I work on cards. Essentially there's gonna be one figure for each person in our friend group, those being characters or things that we really like! Some of the others planned are a Barbie, Bojack Horseman, 2B from NieR, a Porsche 911, and the Tetris L-block.
Oh, and also I'm doing an alt colour version of each figure. Testament's is their Colour 2 from Strive, because that's the one the friend I made the figure for uses.
Now, the big one. The cards! Me and my buds have been working on these for the past few days, putting together a big idea doc and then taking those ideas and turning them into actual, good looking cards! There are three different types of cards; active, equipment, and traps. And also, while lots of the cards have descriptions for what they do, a some have just something stupid down! The idea for those is you just bullshit a meaning, which we all think would be more fun. It's kinda like Cards Against Humanity if it was good.
There's 21 of these suckers as of right now, but the goal is to hit 80 for a full (initial) deck.
And that's it! That's all I'll talk about this for now. I probably will NEVER release this to the public, it'll most likely just remain as a fun friend group exclusive. Sorry not sorry lol! I just wanted to talk about the design process a little bit.
