I still fondly remember seeing the Olympic Torch during its Torch Relay all across the UK back in 2012. It was spectacular and really enjoyable to see.
The Olympics in general is one of my favourite Sporting Events. Love the Olympics- hope its another great one this year.

I used to fence, so fencing is always enjoyable to watch. Obviously the sprints are a lot of fun - but other than that I’m not a big sports guy. Any recommendations?
I try to watch as broad a range as I can though Cycling, Athletics (especially the Sprints too), and Rowing are the events I usually watch the most.
Skateboarding which debuted at the last Olympics was a lot of fun- Im glad they've kept it. Apparently Breakdancing is debuting at this one- Im really curious as to what that is.
For the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, they actually held some of the soccer/football games at the Orange Bowl in Miami, so my family took me to see one and I was incredibly bored because I was six. Still remember it, though!

Yeah! It's visually very cool. Feels unique and highlighting France very well.
The boats are also cool but feels like you don't get to see the athletes for as long as when they walk. Hard to see their outfits too which are always fun to compare. And seems like it takes a little away from being a flag bearer and lead your country in.
Other than that, good stuff!
Yeah that's probably the main complaint Id give this. Not enough screen time for the Athletes- which is a bit of a shame. Still great though.

Love the stage too! Having it be a Eiffel Tower-shaped runway is genius.
