I've been working on this for awhile. Mask Mandates in Healthcare Facilities were dropped last fall, and despite the massive surge in variants, despite CDC backtracking and asking folks to mask again, mask mandates have not returned.
I know direct action is better. To talk to people directly, but I don't see any way I can do that without more help. So a petition can be a good place to start.
I carefully wrote up the petition and included all the scientific data to support it. Please share and sign as you will. If you'd like to adapt what I wrote to your own attempts to get mask mandates in your region, let me know, and I can help you edit that!

I know I mention my home state, but this also applies to other places that fail to do mask mandates. I don't mind people borrowing my arguments and sources to do a letter writing campaign in their own regions.
I'm probably gonna start up an Action Network letter writing campaign about this too. And if I get enough signatures, I'm gonna work with local groups to print the petition and signatures, then dump it on the decision-makers desks (with hopefully media to broadcast it) as a form of protest. That's the goal anyway.
