Quark Amaya McFluffers and I live in a little house in a city. Together we navigate the days with cuddles, reading and writing - or rather him sleeping as I write - and looking out the window at a world we both can't quite touch. He exists as angsty fluff, and I as a chronically ill, disabled nonbinary mess.

No really. It requires so much less brain energy. Characters already exist, setting already exists. Just gotta rewatch scenes, listen to the soundtrack, and worry only about making sure their voices are true to the show. Everything else already exists.

So when dealing with pain and brainfog and fatigue? Fanfiction lets me practice writing without using so much mental energy that I wipe myself out for a day or three. So I'm able to slowly find different strategies to write around my symptoms. So hopefully I'll be able to get back to finishing my Elivera novels.

Speaking of the fanfiction -- I wrote some Legend of Korra fanfiction (featuring my most favorite couple in all of animated media- Korrasami!).

Would anyone here be interested in reading? And what's a good way to post it? It's.... um... LONG. lol

Ahhh sorry I didn't see this notification till today! Probably AO3 is best for Korrasami fic. Wherever it goes up, lemme know and I will read, I used to love reading fanfiction but fell off after Livejournal stopped being a thing 😔
