Quark Amaya McFluffers and I live in a little house in a city. Together we navigate the days with cuddles, reading and writing - or rather him sleeping as I write - and looking out the window at a world we both can't quite touch. He exists as angsty fluff, and I as a chronically ill, disabled nonbinary mess.

I feel like I don't really know what to do with my cohost. Like I've been pensive about sharing random thoughts. (Who knows why), and I already post a lot on my Mastodon account (Aaidanbird@disabled.social), which is where my thoughts about my chronic illnesses and disability justice often end up.

So Maybe... if y'all are interested (does people read these? i know at least one or two do), I can just start posting short fiction I've written?

I thought about posting the Korrasami fanfiction here, but y'all, it's like a mini novel. It's over 30,000 words. lol that... is a lot, and it would turn this cohost into just my fanfiction blog. haha. So I'm trying to get an invitation to AO3 as that has a slightly better system for hosting such a fic.

I guess I could share some of my poetry too.

Here's the link to a longform poetry that I have been writing on my world anvil: World Anvil: Elivera: Tazihăvasi

Here's an excerpt of the Tazihăvasi (from the world anvil link) - I'm only posting the first Kanitu, but there's a lot more stanzas in the link:

Tazihăvasi

Wise One chants lore of the universe. Young Fool listens. Breathe in the story, breathe out life, and be one with the words that mark the world in a technicolor tapestry, that defines how to be.

Kanitu 1

We are made of stories.
The very atoms of our beings,
the stories of the stars that fused our atoms, our ancestry.
Tales built on stories built on tales,
each interlocking level building the pyramid higher and higher,
until the world cracked and the river of words flooded our land.
We drank deep of the waters.
The words melded to our sinews,
grafted to our bones, resonated with our neurons.
With these words, we are united.

So note it be.
