I went hard into Lego last year, and it has been something I really enjoyed so far. Makes for a great gift as well.
I have my eyes on Himeji Castle, and will probably buy it if it ever becomes part of a discount deal.
P.S: you forgot the qtoid tag
I made this a while ago through a Lego rental service I found. It was a cool one!
Fun fact; supposedly old Japanese castles were purposely built to be confusing to navigate as a defensive feature against spies/ninjas. The idea was they'd get lost and run into some guards while trying to find whoever was in the central chamber.
I learned this from Nioh!
A non fun fact:
The majority of Japanese castles today are fake. The majority were dismantled during the Meiji Restoration, and the rest destroyed during WW2. I think only four castles out if hundreds are original castles, with Himeji being one of them.
Yeah..... I'd love to build more of these but not at these prices
