I have paid zero attention to the game awards because honestly, who cares about them? Looking at the winners though, it really makes me kinda mad to see that there were apparently only five video games realeased in 2023, according to these people. And half of them were remakes that we're gonna treat as new games for some reason.
The AAA gaming sphere generally doesn't interest me much for a lot of reasons, and when I look in a bit closer, I just lose even more interest, whomp whomp!
I can't help but think of that Carlin snark about our "Nintendo pilots".
