Chunky PS1 graphics + locked in a weird place with strangers + Escape Room puzzles + the click sound the flashlight makes = Alright Tartarus Key you're in the Top 10 list this year. Sorry I don't make the rules
Finished the game, it's a banger. The ending really tries to go for it and gets 85% there, would need just a little more focus on the narrative and the interactions between characters to fully land but I love how it manages to bridge the gap between the conspiracy thriller and the lynchian horror. Not too long, the puzzles are good (goddamn freezer), the PS1 graphics are used excellently. Fantastic surprise.
