Wait, no, your entymology of this is all wrong. As a Hollow-Knight-like, the "castle" part is a reference to the very type of edifice that a knight protects.
we're just never, ever going to hear the word "Castlevania" in anything other than the voice of the count from the intro theme song to Captain N.
