[sighing] it's really very simple. one zweihander is split into twenty ponyards, which are split into twelve dirks. A dirk is worth four needles, and a needle is split into half- and third-needles. But the government stopped issuing needles in 1912 because inflation made them useless. Zweihanders are a unit of account but you mostly see falchions, which are equal to ten ponyards. You also sometimes see sabres, which are worth two ponyards. Sometimes prices are listed in messers, which are equal to one zweihander and one ponyard, but there's no actual messers in circulation.
