A part of me really hopes that at some random point this gen we get a vgc ruleset that allows hisuian and dlc pokemon but not paradoxes or legendaries.
I do really love a lot of the paradoxes and legendaries, and i mean that completely genuinely theyre my favorite new mons, but I feel bad for mons like Dipplin and Wyrdeer that suffer from being introduced to competitive for the very first time in formats that have Landorous and Urshifu and Flutter Mane legal.
It would be fun to get a low power level format but with all the weird dudes that missed out on the previous time we got one of those.
