Man I really Really wanna try His Majesty The Worm and I really wanna blog the process of building a city and a megadungeon because they're both just so so so cool and don't even get me started on the card based combat

@Scampir

don't even get me STARTED about how playing a card with a lower value means you get to go first but playing a card with a higher value means you are less likely to be targeted

And there's bluffing!! Some actions can be played face down til you're targeted, so the GM or player has to determine whether the face down card is actually high or if it's just a gambit to get out of being targeted!! Maybe that doesn't map 1-1 in a simulationist sense but that's still cool as fuck!! Fuck!!

in reply to @Scampir's post:

The apprehension as the GM counts up initiative, each person calculating how much of their plan has gone up in smoke based on who has acted so far. Every number with nobody acting ratcheting up tension as you think "fuck did I burn my best offensive card on my defense now? How will I hit this... At least a ten, now...?"

Seems really cool!
