After drawing Luciano del Rio, I acted on a friend's suggestion to draw a rakali, a creature sometimes called the "Australian otter". Unlike Madison Riveter, I put him somewhere an otter would be expected to be, but this meant yet another interesting setting I had yet to draw with its own challenges to surmount. I also used a custom palette with less saturated colors than usual, lending this one a different feel compared to my previous works.

Travis Millewa (he/him)In the mutagian world, it is never too late to find who you are. Travis Millewa thought he knew who he was, but as he neared high school graduation, his final shapeshifting classes led him to realize his form was a mask for his true self to wear. By the time he began college, his legal identity had changed. Far from unusual, this is so common that wherever you go, society is ready to handle it, to the extent it would not be noteworthy had Travis not designed his new coat to mark the occasion.
What has never changed is his favorite thing in life. Travis has always enjoyed swimming, but these days, he is practically at home in water. Even when he is not having the time of his life swimming around pools and lakes, he frequently bathes in bodies of water for meditation. The feeling of his fur being soaked by it and his skin cooling under its touch brings him into a state of peace unlike most things in his day. It helps him to clear his mind and to focus, such is the effect upon him.
