i was looking at n3300 earlier, and i wondered how much the “sweeping editorial changes to comply with the ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2” were bureaucratic trivia, as suggested by the lack of any obvious changelog notes (is my sarcasm detector too sensitive?)

thanks for your work, and i hope you get to relax now that’s done!

I did not include it in the notes because it's just be 6 pages of "change may to can, change may to can, changed may to can, changed may to can, changed may to can". And then 2 more pages of "fixed grammar on 'potentially' usage, lifted this footnote into a proper note, made this semi-normative hint-hint-wink-wink-nudge-nudge into real normative text".

A lot of it wasn't exactly mechanical, but it WAS mostly nerdshit. It had no actual effect on the reading or implementation of C, and there was some 30+ years of this stuff kind of accumulated. There's more problems in the text, actually, but I basically pleaded with the ISO editor to please don't make me do any more, I'll get it for the next standard cycle, Please God I Am Tired!!!

But yeah, no sarcasm. A lot of mechanical crap.
