No, it's not on the App Store or Play Store. This is by design.
You know the thing where NSFW creators, models, artists, etc. ask for protections so that they can make a living and not be impacted by bullshit regulations? This is why. Cohost is a NSFW-friendly site meaning that if it had an App, it would have to abide by (literally only) Apple's rules. Apple hates porn and it does not want it on its app store. It's why Twitter has insane rules around hiding it and why Discord makes you toggle NSFW servers on Desktop manually. Remember when Tumblr banned porn and everyone left? It was almost entirely because of this. To avoid this happening here, there is no native app.
However, you can very easily add Cohost to your Home Screen like an app. Here's how!
iOS
Open cohost.org in Safari and click the Share button at the bottom. (It's the middle one.) In that list, click Add to Home Screen. That's it!
Now just log in, and you're set.
Android
For Chrome users, open cohost.org and tap the three dots/hamburger menu. (I don't know what it looks like, I'm not on Android sorry.) From there, select Add to Home Screen.
For Firefox users, open cohost.org, tap the hamburger menu and select "Install".
Now just log in, and you're set.
Finished!
Now you have Eggbug on the go! The Cohost mobile site was built to functionally work like an app and the features are identical to the website. Enjoy!
I don't know why, I never had any other social media Apps before and everything since has been a PWA like this. But hey, it works!
EU users, please note that Apple is disabling this function for you because big corp whiny about being required to act like competition might exist.

so true. i did this and got like 10x more active here and 10x less active everywhere else. i dismissed it at first but trust me, it makes a huge difference.

for context, EU is forcing Apple to allow other web browsers other than Safari, and it requires Apple to be equal. Apple doesn't want to allow web apps on other browsers, so they decided to disable Safari's existing feature and blamed the EU.
as bad as android is, i'm glad that i'm using it. even if google somehow did the same thing, i can easily just root my phone.
Web apps will instead open up in a web browser tab but the shortcuts will still function. Other PWAs that used features like push notifications will not be able to use those features, but Cohost doesn't appear to use any of those anyway so the net effect will be a URL bar.
FWIW Froggy Chore isn't a full PWA and acts like this when I launch it from my home shortcut on Android today and it's not really a big deal. Well, that experience is not a big deal. Apple disabling PWAs is bullshit I'm just saying "no web apps in other browsers" isn't quite correct, the guide above should still work fine.
