as someone who writes fiction yeah tbh i think something has to be a little wrong w u to write fiction
u have to be able to cackle gleefully at tragedy bc you know it's the fuel that allows the characters to later reach those emotional highs
This is just par for the course tbh, cuz otherwise you won't have any hardships for the OC to get over.
Maybe unless said OC is in a slice of life. The stakes are normally much lower there haha
