Really common artifact in the dx9 era of PC games: Any time the screen faded to black for a loading/cutscene transition, there would still be a 1px line of lit pixels along the bottom and right edges of the screen
I've always assumed this happened because they were doing the fade-out effect as a fullscreen postprocess, and fucking up the dx9 half-pixel offset
I have no way to confirm this, but I believe it to be true because
- it mostly stopped happening after dx10 took over
- it would be really funny
