been playing dragons dogma 2 and it's really impressive from a design/execution standpoint but also I'm kinda bored? It's got the same problem as every Huge Game where like, the core loop is really solid but there's so much Content that I'm tired of the core loop before I'm anywhere near the end of the game

good chance I just won't end up finishing it, which is kind of a shame tbh

I also have this problem with many of the Large games out there today. It's just too much game for me. They're often impressive and really cool! But, I can't finish them.

These portions are too large and video-game leftovers don't reheat well.
