"just use godot" I dunno man the fact that their solution to "how do we compile for multiple platforms" was "write our own scripting language and obtain none of the benefits of any existing language", and then their solution to "how do we compile shaders for multiple platforms" was "write our own shader language and obtain none of the benefits of any existing language" really makes me suspect the dev team is more interested in Re-Solving Existing Problems For Fun than in Actually Helping People Ship Games
