messing with playdate dev which means I'm forced to use lua

on the one hand, each new thing I learn about lua makes me hate it even more than I already did
on the other hand, the best set of tools for doing gamedev-style linear algebra in lua is apparently named Cirno's Perfect Math Library so that kinda fucks

One of my hottest programming takes is that 1 index is actually better, but it's far worse to be inconsistent

I wrote a DNS packet parser in Lua and that convinced me that 0 is the correct origin. So many weird odd numbers despite all the field sizes being 2 or 4. Painful.
