Right now the one thing in Chained Echoes that I think would be an improvement is one small adjustment to the reward board.
The idea is to do these little tasks and achievements for each area and chain(!) them together for major rewards like the rare skill points that you usually only get after defeating a boss.
All of that is cool, I just wish that some of these tiles only appeared when you were actually able to do them.
I'm combing over early areas looking for these quests only to find online that they don't trigger till wayyy later than they appear on the board.
Mechanical ones like 'switch every turn' or 'use an all female party' also just dont seem possible yet and taunt me.
As far as RPGs go it's a minor complaint, which means Chained Echoes is still pretty great so far, but I figure it's worth talking about since it wasted my time a bit.
