The first time was an upgrade from the pretty shit 720p TN panel, for a 'new' 1080p IPS display from a supplier over on eBay. I got super lucky and ended up with a pristine Innolux model, no dead pixels and a super crisp display.
Then just before the new year when I was moving furniture about, one of my desktop speakers fell slap bang onto my laptop and cracked the LCD. I was fucking mortified, but thankfully the supplier had more available and the price had even dropped.
No lucky draw this time around, it's an unbranded copy with some pretty gnarly backlight bleed once the bezel's on. But it's still better than the TN spare by a mile, and I can now comfortably resume my Armored Core Portable binge.
