Well, thanks(?) to Cohost's imminent demise, I finallly got the nerve up to use some stickers! It's...a thing for me. Always has been. I hear it's a trans thing? I dunno. But yeah, check them out!
Hey all!
Just your everyday pan transgender librarian. As one so typically is. Also a Socialist, so there's that. I'm enjoying my time off of corporate social media.
I like reading, video games, and art. Looking to follow more people here.

Well, shit.
I was never on Cohost much, but when I was, I enjoyed myself. It's a shame to see it go, but better to quit before it collapses I suppose. I remember reading a thing a while back about how "permanence" has become the only metric of success anymore, and how that is bad. Cohost might be done, but it was a success while it was here.
So, as everyone's been doing, here's where else to find me: https://tech.lgbt/@Tourma
I've been primarily on Mastodon since the Muskinzation of Twitter.
But here a site like Linktree or Caard that has all my places: https://linkstack.lgbt/@Tourma
If you like the concept of the Fediverse, but tried Mastodon and disliked that, you might want to try one of the other styles of sites. My suggestions are Sharkey, (a Misskey fork,) as it feels closer to Tumblr than Twitter. Or if you're looking for a blog, WriteFreely offers a minimalist solution.
Lastly, on suggestion from @Margot, I made a site for linking things I like. :)

EDIT: Making my own site! HTTPS://Tourma.great-site.net
(Note: as of 9/25/24, it is under construction.
Every next picture feels like slipping further into a fever dream of an alternate dimension where architecture is just different than it is in our reality.
Reminds me of a comedian in the late 90's early Aughts that talked about his dad seemingly always hanging paneling somewhere. Like, he could make an entire new floor out of nothing but paneling.
daily knowledge: using two wrenches, you can break almost any padlock open by placing them at 90 degrees to each other in the shackle and squeezing the handles of the wrenches together. the upper handle acts as a lever, multiplying the force applied to the padlock, allowing you to destroy it.
...Probably shouldn't put a finder between them like that though.
