I don't actively check any particular sites for fighting game news... kakuge.info, kakuge-checker etc are all still kicking, though, so they're as good a place as any to start.
Most of the more thoughtful Cxntxnt produced around fighting games ends up on youtube or on individual note pages, so I just read/watch whatever random stuff I see people talking about. I guess the exception would be goziline, but they're not super active nowadays as their main writers have industry jobs, including design/balance consultation on the occasional fighting game. They did just publish a piece on playing SVC Chaos with low-tiers that's you'd probably enjoy.
Again, I'm fairly agnostic when it comes to broader JP game sites but denfami has published some of the more interesting dev interviews of the last decade or so, and 4gamer recently started a column on game localisation that I've been enjoying.
