I feel like the conversation about Jennifer Diane Reitz's legacy basically ended with that bit in the middle of Detransition, Baby about the COGIATI, which is fair enough, heaven knows it did its damage to us collectively speaking, but I feel like her comics got a bad rap they didn't deserve.
Now, I have to acknowledge my bias here as one of the scant few humans to still own the complete Unicorn Jelly in hardcover. I am a complete fucking mark for the kind of shit JDR does with her fiction. But I maintain: that is because I am a mark for shit that rules. "but Pastel Defender Heliotrope's so fucking ugly - " so's hitmen for destiny, fuckin eat your veggies and stick around for the beautiful mess of it all.
I will not comment on the My Little Pony TF saga. I haven't made space in my reading queue for it yet.
