Have played X which consequently was my first FF game. All in all excited. Wish the games grabbed my attention when they originally came out. I blame the cover art. Because when I was a kid cover art was what got me interested.

Hope you enjoy! I've made it to the end of like every classic FF but that was when I'd quit every game before the credits. I gotta do my own run through to fix it.
Digging the pixel art and glad the original designer did the remaster. Music is also good.
If you play FF I and a guy somewhere gives you directions (⬆️➡️➡️ and such) write them down so that when you do find yourself in the shitty lost woods type puzzle/maze after not having played the game for a while and can't remember where the guy was anymore, then you still have the directions.
That's a thing I'd tell my past self about to play FF I. I liked it otherwise.
I'm kinda jealous of that cart.
FF1 is one of my favorites. Party customization is on point. All the tracks are bangers. And the dungeon delving is amazing - you have such a limited set of resources to get into, then out of, so many dungeons. Managing how far you can dive in before getting back out is one of my favorite parts of the genre
Its been good so far. Been feeling the pressure of resource management. Tense in a good way.
