Not a picture or piece of media from me this time, but a memory.
I never played Rhythm Tengoku for the GBA, but back in the day, when I still couldn't access a set of drums, I was fascinated by its drum lesson mode. I saved that video in my Watch Later playlist, and there it remained for years. Last night, when going through my Watch Later playlist, I rediscovered the video.
Looking back at this, I wouldn't mind four-waying a bunch of these grooves down the line just so that I can be as adept on the kit as possible. By four-waying, I mean adding a hi-hat click on offbeats to enhance the groove. As it stands, these grooves hit well because they have a nice pocket about them; I would want to take it a step or two further.
