there is a certain weirdness to the trepidation about dawntrail, which i suspect is mostly from americans

like, in a game where they have extensively gone on about the horrors of occupation and colonialism (a thing established to not even be happening in the area where dawntrail will be taking place), where we even specifically aren't coming over there as people power but as mercenaries for the established ruling class in cultures and nations that seem to thriving pretty damn well, is the writing really the worry here or are you projecting a thing onto it from your own history and prejudices and trying to shift the blame for that?
