for a long time i thought dating apps were my only option but dating apps fucking SUCK

the only way i ended up finding my partners was by joining new communities (returning to college, joining cohost and talking about xenoblade, and creating the chosties ffxiv discord respectively for the three of them). and in all three cases i was very much not looking for a partner. it just happened that the communities i joined happened to have people who i shared enough with that we were willing to give it a try.

fwiw i think you are a delightful person and you deserve to find someone that makes you happy. i hope you will meet them sooner rather than later.
