i think the one i committed to out of these was the one on the left on account of catching the night time feeling better.

this is also very illustrative of one my vices/stylistic traits depending on how you look at it which is that as an extension of the fact that i really like to look for framing elements in the environment i will often also tend towards long lenses and flat shots to emphasize the framing

two "mistakes" in the one on the right is having the colors be brighter and having no DoF means that you lose almost entirely the sense of night time. The DoF adds the kind of blurryness you'd want from the time of day, and the colors being darker add to the mood of the piece. Having a lighter and narrower range of colors makes the shot lose the mood.
