ooh neat. my first thought on seeing the title was "idk, they seem to be doing OK with it around here", but i guess the underground 150kV lines around here are only rated for like 200MVA tops. idk what the original Scattergood – Olympic line did; it's kinda hard to find, but the new line replacing it is 656 MVA apparently. i imagine that's a bit trickier, especially in 1974
