while I generally agree with wikipedias standards, sometimes you come across a thing like "person implying that you need to cite references to prove the existence and notability of: frying" and it puts the entire project in doubt

oh is this wikia-wide? I assumed it was specific to wookieepedia because it happened a long time ago in a galaxy far far away
