This one doesn’t work right on mobile.

dragging the dot just enough to the right (or the left) so the text disappears, allowing eggbug to remain at peace while also removing the burden that being prompted to do a thing gives

It's a common theme on this website that notifications going out of control is so much more significant than anywhere else :P

Doesn't work on iPad

This does, technically work on mobile, but the grabber is about one pixel large on mobile browsers and it's improbable to tap it. I don't think there's a workaround because no one has found one yet.
