but I just caught most of it on TV again and Jesus that was an absolutely terrible movie, wholly without charm, an utter disgrace of a bad cgi snoozefest.
Yes, most of the cgi in the original wasn't great, but it was an amplifier, sugar on top of a rock-solid movie, not the only fucking thing happening at all times.
That's the crime.
