To start with, she's a... much more nuanced character, which should give you some interesting choices during the game (in the hands of a competent developer). And then there's the whole psi powers that let her look in people's heads and memori—No, look, I hear you, I swear I don't just want another Remember Me. (okay, yes, I do, but that's unrelated to this)
