the thing that made the "MBAs are bad for business but especially bad for workers" thing make the most sense for me is I remembered the business school my school was Known For, and who their guest speakers and professors were, and pretty much all of them were former consultants and not people who actually like, ran a business

I don't think most MBAs are bad at heart, but 4 years of propaganda you must take on in order to pass when you're paying so much for school is a HUGE sunk cost that makes most people captive audiences.

And on top of that, it gives you a vocabulary set and worldview that means most people other than MBAs and middle/upper management, will start to distance themselves from you, further cementing it

my degree was Business Studies, and even in the late 80's when I was studying, the ideas and process being lauded were all bad and failed to recognise the power of people working together to make the world better...
when you treat people as resources for extracting value from, and that is your underpinning for your ideas, we can only ever continue the structural inequalities that exist and make them worse. MBA's are bad, even if the people who get them didn't set out to evil...oh google what happened to your motto
